Our Doctors

We have three amazing doctors in our practice:

  • Ben Partovi grew up in Vancouver and loves the area for its unbeatable natural beauty. He is skilled in many areas of dentistry, but implantology is his passion.
  • Kara Ellis-Partovi, Dr. Ben Partovi’s wife, moved to Vancouver from Ontario in the early 2000s. Before that, she graduated at the top of her class from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto.
  • Melissa Chui, a Vancouver native, has undergone advanced education to bring her patients the best care available.

All of our dentists want to provide personalized, compassionate care to their patients. They never hesitate to take the time to answer your questions and educate you on the best ways to care for your oral health.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services; in fact, it’s rare that we’ll have to refer you to another practice for specialized attention. We’re particularly proud to be a cosmetic dentist who makes smiles beautiful through teeth whitening, veneers, and other treatments. We also have the expertise necessary to restore smiles with sturdy, natural-looking dental implants. Just a few of the other services we offer include:

  • Preventive dentistry, including cleanings, checkups, oral cancer screenings, and more.
  • Restorative dentistry, such as root canals, crowns, bridges, and wisdom teeth extraction.
  • Sedation dentistry for folks who suffer from dental anxiety — we want to help you relax!
  • Emergency dentistry for those times when tooth trouble strikes out of the blue.

We Welcome Patients of All Ages

Some dental practices hesitate to work on children, perhaps because they don’t feel qualified to address the unique needs of young teeth. At West Richmond Dental Centre, we’re eager to welcome your entire family, including your children. We’ll always take the time to help them feel comfortable in our office. Our goal is to instill a positive view of dentistry in them and help them build lifelong habits that will lead to many decades of healthy smiles.

To make it easier for you and your family to keep your dental appointments, our conveniently located office is open until 6 p.m. on weekdays, so you won’t have to take the kids out of school just so they can get their teeth cleaned.
